Droyd in San Francisco is seeking a Test / Repair Technician to ensure test robots operate smoothly and support hands-on testing across the hardware stack. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining systems used for demos and evaluations.
This full-time role requires hands-on mechanical skills, fast troubleshooting, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. The compensation ranges from $70K to $95K annually, plus equity.
Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
To improve quickly, we need a dedicated team keeping test systems running and executing repeatable evaluations on real hardware. Our test team supports demos, end effector evaluation, motor and firmware testing, and forward deployment preparation.
As a Test / Repair Technician at Droyd, you will keep test robots running and support hands‑on testing across the hardware stack. You will diagnose issues, swap parts, perform repairs, and help maintain systems used for demos and evaluation.
This is a practical, hands‑on role for someone who likes fixing things quickly and keeping hardware operational.
This role is based on‑site in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation: $70K–$95K base salary, plus equity
This role involves standing for extended periods, working with hand and power tools, and close attention to detail.
