Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Test and Product Engineer to contribute across a broad portfolio, from probe and final test development to product lifecycle management and manufacturing optimization.

You will collaborate with design, applications, test, marketing, manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams to improve test coverage, reduce costs, and ensure product quality across global facilities.

Qualifications

• Background in probe and final test development for complex mixed-signal circuits.

Responsibilities

• Development work in support of a broad range of analog multiplexers, protection diodes, transceivers, and isolation advanced Integrated Circuits that address Automotive and Industrial markets.
• Collaborate and work in a team environment with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability in all aspects of post-release activities to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Develop ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software, including qualification hardware development.
• Perform qualification & characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures.
• Work with process and package technology development to develop and qualify technologies for new manufacturing facilities.
• Work closely with the global manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products.
• Analyze customer returns, engage in process improvement activities like test coverage improvements to improve product overall quality.
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
