Job summary

Wayne Fueling Systems in Austin, TX is seeking a Test Operator II to perform precision assembly and testing in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot wiring/assembly issues and diagnose units from other zones, documenting results and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing, and at least 1 year of wiring assembly and troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education level.
At least 1 year of experience in wiring assembly.
At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting products.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment required.
Ability to read and understand working instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of semi-repetitive or unique precision assembly operations.
Troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues and diagnose units from other zones.
Test and diagnose units using test stands and protocols.
Work with Zone Team Members to meet daily tasks and zone metrics.
Engage in 6S and housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare testing reports for Test Engineering teams and communicate findings.
Stand for long durations (up to 10 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs as required.
Collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and ensure quality.
