Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) offers an exciting opportunity for a Test Operations Quality Specialist supporting TOS II at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Tullahoma, Tennessee. The role involves maintaining and supporting the US Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts as part of an integrated team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality auditing, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and metric reporting. Proficiency in customer and supplier interactions, document review, and confined space work with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures is essential. Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and fostering a quality culture are required.

Job Duties

• Implement the BNH Quality Program within the AEDC TOS domain.
• Conduct/verify test article and facility inspections, including FOD monitoring.
• Support activities outside primary responsibilities as needed.
• Represent BNH during quality audits and interface with suppliers on quality issues.
• Lead or participate in quality audits and surveillances.
• Mitigate technical and project management risks.
• Review documents and support capital projects.
• Manage corrective actions within the closed-loop system.
• Implement work instructions and execute Lock Out/Tag Out processes.
• Perform area toolbox reviews and maintain metric data for trend analysis.
• Monitor and improve the quality program, fostering a culture of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management and personnel across the TOS domain to address quality needs.
• Work independently and proactively resolve issues.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with a strong quality culture.
• Participate in causal analysis to identify root causes of process failures.
• Implement aspects of the quality management system.
• Wear PPE as required and perform related duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with five years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and network access.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active security clearance.
• Knowledge of industry standards relevant to AED TOS.
• Experience with quality programs and certifications (e.g., ASQ, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
• Understanding of DoD customer requirements.
