Job description

This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Position: Test Manager - Payer Domain

Location: Oakland, CA

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Over 9 years of IT experience focused on QA testing within the Healthcare domain.
  • Experience leading testing efforts for projects involving Facets-based Finance & Payments interfaces.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Ability to analyze and report test results effectively.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong SQL querying skills, including writing complex joins.
  • Experience with defect reporting tools like JIRA and defect metrics.
  • Experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python frameworks.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Understanding of business process automation and scripting in Java and Python.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience in the Payer domain.
  • Proven leadership in testing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and techniques.
  • Experience with MS Azure Cloud migration is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Implement Agile testing processes.
  • Thorough testing of Facets Claims and Billing modules.
  • Gather requirements and provide testing feedback.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

Applications accepted until 05/23/2025. The annual salary ranges from [$71,100 – $112,500], depending on experience and qualifications. The position includes eligibility for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
