Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Test Line technician to set up and test large commercial packaging equipment. This position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in a climate-controlled environment.

Starting pay is $30.88 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage. A High School Diploma or GED is required, plus 2-year A.A.S in Industrial Maintenance Technology or 2–5 years of maintenance experience; WorkKeys Silver level or higher is

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and electrical functions.
• Read engineering blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 year A.A.S Degree – Industrial Maintenance Technology, or 2-5 years’ experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance. (preferred)
• WorkKeys Certification: National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Certificate Level or higher) (preferred)
