Job summary

JST is seeking a Test Line Engineer to configure, start up, troubleshoot, and test final JST products. You will ensure equipment meets JST standards, drawings, and customer specs in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves wiring, programming, testing, and documenting on JST benches and in the cleanroom, with overtime and travel up to 10% as needed. A relevant engineering degree or 5+ years automation experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years in automation systems.
• Experience with ladder logic, Allen-Bradley and Unitronics PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, multimeters, fluids, pneumatics, and assembly techniques.
• Ability to program and set parameters for various electrical, fluid, and pneumatic controllers.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Configure controllers, switches, meters, regulators, and HMI parameters on JST benches.
• Connect and disconnect temporary lines to JST wet benches on the test line and in the cleanroom.
• Test manual and automated functions of JST benches to verify compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot components to meet customer, vendor, or engineering specs.
• Complete the Factory Acceptance Checklist and maintain project docs in Excel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 6S.
• Develop understanding of JST wet processing products within nine months.
