Job Title: Senior QA Analyst Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

Location: Oshore

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly capable Senior QA Analyst with specialized experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), focusing on core financial modules and processes. The role requires hands-on functional testing of transaction flows, financial configurations, and accounting logic across F&O, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and performance in enterprise financial operations. Experience with RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and execute detailed test cases for Finance-specific modules including:
2. General Ledger (GL): journal posting, approvals, allocations, intercompany entries, period-end processes
3. Accounts Payable (AP): invoice registration, payment proposals, vendor settlement, 3-way matching
4. Accounts Receivable (AR): sales invoicing, receipts, dunning, ageing reports
5. Fixed Assets: asset acquisition, depreciation, disposal, revaluation
6. Cash & Bank Management: bank reconciliation, payment journals, positive pay
7. Budgeting: budget entry, control rules, revisions, workflows
8. Validate dimension-based accounting structures, including financial dimensions, posting profiles, and subledger integration.
9. Perform data-driven testing to ensure financial integrity across modules and posting layers.
10. Execute regression testing after configuration changes, integrations, or D365 product updates.
11. Perform cross-module testing for Finance interactions with Procurement, Projects, and Payroll where applicable.
12. Use Azure DevOps for managing test artifacts, linking requirements to test cases, logging and tracking defects.
13. Conduct validation of tax configurations (VAT codes, tax groups, settlement periods), currencies and exchange rate impacts on transactions, multi-company posting rules, and intercompany workflows.
14. Review configurations in D365 F&O to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
15. Participate in UAT planning and execution, preparing test scripts aligned with real-world finance scenarios.
16. Support data migration testing including trial balance, open transactions, fixed asset carry-forward, and bank balances.
17. Conduct go-live readiness validation, including smoke tests, period-end simulations, and reconciliation checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 78+ years of overall QA experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
2. Deep domain knowledge of finance operations, including core accounting, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset lifecycle, tax, currency & reporting requirements, and banking operations.
3. Strong understanding of ERP financial controls, compliance, and reconciliation requirements.
4. Advanced proficiency in using Azure DevOps for test and defect lifecycle management.
5. Ability to work independently and lead QA streams in complex ERP implementation or transformation programs.
6. Proficient in data validation and reporting verification for financial testing scenarios.
7. Strong communication skills and experience working directly with finance stakeholders (controllers, finance managers, CFOs).
8. Experience testing integrations between D365 F&O and external systems such as banks, payroll, and reporting tools (Power BI).
9. Familiarity with financial reporting, data validation, and GL/subledger reconciliations.

Desirable Skills:

• RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) experience in test case creation, maintenance, parameterization, and execution within D365 F&O.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Finance (MB-310 or equivalent).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• ISTQB or other formal QA certification.
