Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Test Lead to support an ongoing HCM implementation, responsible for managing SIT, UAT, regression testing, and go-live readiness activities. This role requires partnering with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and project stakeholders to ensure successful testing execution and defect management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on qTest experience for test management, reporting, and requirements traceability, and will drive readiness across teams prior to production deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of testing leadership in enterprise environments.
• Experience with UAT and coordinating business stakeholders.
• Hands-on qTest testing and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing strategy and execution for the HCM implementation.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, and schedules.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression testing, and go-live readiness.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and project stakeholders.
• Track progress, risks, and quality metrics; provide status updates.
• Utilize qTest or similar tools for test management and reporting.
• Coordinate testing resources and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure documentation, evidence, and sign-off before deployment.
• Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-prod validation.

Insight Global is seeking a Test Lead to support an ongoing HCM implementation, responsible for managing SIT, UAT, regression testing, and go-live readiness activities. This individual will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and project stakeholders to ensure successful testing execution, defect management, and business validation. The ideal candidate will have prior HCM implementation experience and hands-on expertise with qTest for test management, reporting, and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing strategy and execution for the implementation project
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing schedules
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression testing, and go-live readiness activities across teams
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and project stakeholders
• Track testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics while providing regular status updates to project leadership
• Utilize qTest or similar test management tools to manage test cases, execution results, requirements traceability, and reporting
• Coordinate testing resources, business testers, and cross-functional teams throughout all testing phases
• Ensure appropriate documentation, test evidence, and sign-off processes are completed prior to production deployment
• Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production validation efforts

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience leading testing, QA, or UAT initiatives within enterprise environments
• Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test execution frameworks
• Experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing business stakeholder participation.
• Hands-on experience with qTest tools
• Strong understanding of defect management, requirements traceability, and test reporting
• Ability to manage multiple testing workstreams and priorities simultaneously
