What We Need:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Protection Inspection Technician to join our Test & Inspection Team in Southern Colorado.

The role of the Testing & Inspection Tech is to provide reliable, consistent, high-quality customer support through on-site inspecting, testing, and accurate documentation of fire protection equipment. The Inspector should be self-motivated, customer service-oriented, with strong communication skills and knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Systems.

What You'll Do:

  1. Perform inspections according to NFPA and company standards, ensuring quality.
  2. Complete inspections efficiently and communicate issues promptly to the admin team.
  3. Collaborate with team members to problem-solve and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Work independently to manage and complete jobs within scheduled times.
  5. Use company software to document inspections and daily tasks.
  6. Follow safety policies to ensure safety for self and others.
  7. Coordinate with managers, supervisors, and office staff for seamless processes from scheduling to billing.
  8. Maintain strong communication and accurate report completion.

What we're looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Testing & Inspection.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 25; NFPA 72, 13, and 2001 are a plus.
  • Denver fire alarm and/or sprinkler licensing, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • NICET Alarm Systems 1 & 2 or Inspection/Testing 1 & 2 Certification(s).
  • Comfort with mobile devices for inspection documentation.
  • Ability to communicate deficiencies and solutions clearly.
  • Professional presentation and responsiveness to questions from managers, customers, and authorities.
  • Driver's License required.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience inspecting fire sprinkler or alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of backflow inspections, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Experience with fire extinguisher and fire pump procedures.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and process improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
