Job summary

Qubika is seeking a Test Firmware Engineer to join our team. We design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for organizations making an impact through technology.

You will contribute to firmware development, hardware verification, and pre-silicon activities in a collaborative environment, with mentorship from a senior team and opportunities for skill growth, language lessons, and travel.

Qualifications

• C/C++ Programming: Strong proficiency in C, C++, and object-oriented programming, with solid scripting skills (Python or similar).
• Low-Level Firmware & Drivers: Hands-on experience developing firmware, firmware drivers, and firmware tests for embedded microprocessor subsystems, including startup code, memory-mapped registers, and linker scripts.
• HW/FW Verification Methodology: Knowledge of hardware verification architecture, testbenches, and test plan development using C/C++ and C-DPI based directed test methodology (or similar C-to-RTL interfaces).
• Pre-Silicon Environment: Experience with simulation, emulation, or FPGA prototyping, working alongside SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches.
• Standard Interface Protocols: Good understanding of protocols such as AXI and AHB.
• CPU Architecture: Knowledge of CPU architecture and experience debugging ARM Cortex or RISC-V processors.
