Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc seeks a Test Facility Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program at the Stennis, MS facility. You will support engineering specialists with investigations, troubleshooting, and analysis, and complete short-term projects to improve the site.

That's Infinite Potential. **Role overview:**The Rolls-Royce Stennis Outdoor Test Facility is located on NASA’s John C. Stennis Space Center (Mississippi, USA) just outside the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. R-R-Stennis is capable of testing Rolls-Royce jet engines: large, medium, and military. The R-R-Stennis is the only Rolls-Royce site capable of performing special tests such as fan flutter and noise testing. **What you’ll be doing:*** Supporting all Engineering specialists with investigations, troubleshooting, and analysis* Completing short-term projects that support improvements to the site* Researching long term projects that will support the development of site technology in the future* Participating in global meetings to gain an understanding how an engineering company works with remote sites. **Who we’re looking for:*** Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical engineering and/or related degree* A strong passion for the future of technology* A willingness to work flexibly and travel between locations.
