Job summary

The Structures Company is currently seeking a Test & Evaluation Laboratory Technician 3 for Edwards AFB, CA. The role involves planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, materials and processes, and designing test setups to analyze performance.

You will coordinate test requirements, prepare systems, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and train colleagues under supervision. A 12-month contract with extension potential and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR).
• Experience with electrical determinations.
• Experience with troubleshooting.
• Experience with soldering.
• Experience with connectors.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies.
• Coordinates test requirements and determines test methods and capabilities.
• Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown.
• Conducts tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews.
• Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems.
• Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs.
• Coaches and trains others.
• Works under general direction.
