Boeing’s Space Launch System Core Stage production and functional testing at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida is looking for a Test & Evaluation Engineer (Experienced or Associate) to join their team. This role will be part of the Production Test Team that is testing and verifying our products to ensure the ultimate safety for human spaceflight.
This effort includes the expansion of the test team to KSC, Florida. The Production Test Team does significant amounts of testing on the propulsion and hydraulic systems ensuring the proper build of the rocket, as well as functional testing of the flight avionics and instrumentation.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
1+ years of experience conducting tests in a lab, testing, or production environment
1+ years of experience with Avionics/Electrical Systems and/or Propulsion, Fluid Dynamics, Leak Testing or Pneumatic Panel Operations
Willing and able to work in confined spaces
Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in space-based Avionics/Electrical Systems/Propulsion system testing
Experience with Avionics/Electrical Systems and/or Propulsion, Fluid Dynamics, and/or leak testing or operation of pneumatic panels
Experience with guiding and setting priorities for the team
Experience with NASA customer

Level 2: $85,000-$115,000

Level 3: $103,700-$140,300
