Kearfott Corporation in Pine Brook, NJ seeks a Test Equipment Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production test stations. You’ll oversee equipment readiness, diagnose failures, and coordinate corrective actions across software, electrical, and mechanical domains.

The role involves supporting new test stations, documenting procedures, and ensuring reliability and maintainability of production test systems in a high-precision environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (EE, CE, ME or Systems) required.
• 4+ years working with production test equipment or automated test systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical software-integrated systems.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn Kearfott test equipment and standards.
• U.S. citizen required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain operational status and readiness of production test equipment.
• Serve as technical contact for production test stations and equipment.
• Identify and resolve test station failures and recurring issues.
• Perform system-level troubleshooting across hardware, software, and instrumentation.
• Develop repair or improvement plans and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Support design and implementation of new test stations and upgrades.
• Provide input into electrical, mechanical, software and system-level design.
• Assist with selection of test equipment and interfaces.
• Support LabVIEW-based test software and other automation tools.
• Verify repairs and changes resolve issues without impacting other functions.
• Maintain documentation, test descriptions, and release records.
