Jabil in Florence, KY seeks a Technician Engineer to assist the Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions, and to perform test qualification of fixtures and programs per the system qualification process.

This role provides deliverables to support production for Test Support and Manufacturing Operations, assists in building testers, fixtures and tooling, and delivers comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the Test Engineer in development and commission of test solutions and qualification of fixture and program per system process.
• Provide deliverables to support production to Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assist in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures and environmental tooling as required to meet customer expectations.
• Provide interface to Test Support with documentation and training for all test solutions.
• Coordinate training and education for all test operations with Manufacturing function.
• Monitor and contribute to improvement of test yields, efficiency, intermittencies and uptime with clear targets.
• Strive to upgrade test process balancing cost and coverage for optimized, cost-efficient testing.
• Coordinate timetable for test readiness based on weekly production schedule through Test Support staff.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• In conjunction with the Test Engineer strives to consistently upgrade the test process balancing cost, coverage with the goal of providing an optimized and cost efficient test process.
• Works closely with manufacturing and test support to ensure prioritization of support activities. He/ She will be responsible for coordinating the timetable for test readiness based on the weekly production schedule through the appropriate Test Support staff.

Education & Experience Requirements

• H.S. Diploma required, Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
