Job summary

Belcan Corporation seeks an Engineering Technician - Contractor - C to support production, ESS, and Depot testing in Malabar, FL. This 12-month contract offers immediate start and may transition to hire.

Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, working with engineers to optimize test processes, and applying a lean mindset. Proficiency with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform duties.
• Work with little to no supervision using prescribed processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize test processes and procedures.
• Apply lean, continuous improvement mindset.
• Use diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers) to troubleshoot and fault isolate to component level.
• Maintain positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems.
