Job summary

RENK America is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to support the test engineers in developing and executing test plans for engine and transmission testing. The role involves aiding electronics, instrumentation, data post-processing, and plan execution for hardware and software integration.

Responsibilities include deriving specifications, maintaining data acquisition software, and preparing test docs and presentations. Collaboration with internal customers and technicians is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering (Jr or Sr).
• GPA 3.0 minimum demonstrated.
• Demonstrated systems/test experience in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Derive / verify customer test specifications.
• Maintain and utilize software for test data acquisition, reduction, plotting and tracking.
• Assist in planning and executing tests of Diesel Engines, Cross drive transmissions, and other Powertrain equipment.
• Prepare test documentation and customer presentations.
• Design and specify control systems for test cells, fixtures, and equipment.
