Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. invites students to join our Defense Systems internship in VSFB, CA. You'll work as a Test Engineer intern, helping develop test plans, execute protocols, and coordinate with diverse engineering teams while gaining hands-on experience in hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Ideal candidates are pursuing BE/CE/ME/AE, available for 10 weeks in Summer 2027, and eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• GPA 3.70/4.0 or higher (preferred).
• Current active Secret Security Clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing test plans and procedures.
• Support execution of hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Coordinate with SME and test teams to define objectives.
• Review test requirements for completeness.
• Summarize test results and assist with test readiness.
