Job summary

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Test Engineer with a TS security clearance to support our government customer in Vienna, VA. The role involves developing and executing manual and automated test cases, validating functionalities, code quality, and reporting results.

Essential duties include designing test plans, creating test scripts, performing functional and regression testing, and acting as SME for testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Shall have four years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Must be able to demonstrate working in an operational environment where priorities change frequently.
• Must be able to demonstrate expertise in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management services and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.
• TS security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design test plans to prioritize test activities for each iteration.
• Serve as SME and provide testing knowledge for complex software/hardware applications.
• Write, implement, and report status for system test cases.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts.
• Analyze and document test results and recommend user story adjustments.
• Perform new functionality and regression testing throughout the sprint cycle, including load testing.
• Validate proposed system architecture and run test procedures to ensure that user stories are met.
• Collaborate with management and IT counterparts to define testing strategies in an Agile-Scrum environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing methods to confirm software is defect-free.
• Evaluate and implement automated test tools requested by government.
