Required are hands-on testing experience, protective-relay knowledge, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. A degree in engineering or related field is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Compensation: Approximately $75-$90 per hour, depending on experience
Additional Compensation: Overtime and approximately $151 per day in per diem when traveling
