Job summary

CACI has a Test Engineer - Mid level role based in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting the DS LM contract. The position requires a secret clearance and is in a CONUS location with up to 10% travel.

You will perform test engineering activities for TT&C capabilities delivered to Satellite Control Network users. Responsibilities include developing test plans, coordinating testing, and analyzing requirements to ensure complete test programs.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a DoD adjudicated secret security clearance.
  • Familiar with test techniques and strategies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • SCN experience in operations or system testing.
  • Experience testing hardware in a communications environment.
  • Experience with analysis of project requirements and traceability methods.
  • Ability to communicate with project team members through written/verbal platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics for testability and diagnostic data.
  • Translate contract needs into system test solutions considering time and cost.
  • Develop and direct comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for systems.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities across teams.
  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program.
  • Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare system-level evaluations.

The Opportunity:

CACI has an opportunity for a Test Engineer.Be a part of a great team of professionals in support of the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) contract, located CONUS in Colorado Springs, Colorado.In performing Test Engineering activities for directed modification projects, you will be indirectly supporting the continued delivery of telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) capabilities to a variety of Satellite Control Network (SCN) users.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.
  • Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
  • Coordinates integrated testing activities.
  • Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
  • Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
