Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer (Manual) to support the NY MMIS project with strong mainframe and API testing capabilities.

You will participate in requirements meetings, estimate testing efforts, and design integration tests for complex digital systems. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of testing experience in distributed environments, familiarity with COBOL/CICS on mainframes, and knowledge of health care claims processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• The position requires 2+ years of testing experience in a distributed environment; Mainframe and Open Systems are required.

Responsibilities

• Attend functional requirements definition meetings as requested.
• Provide effort and duration estimates for testing phase of the SDLC.
• Design and develop integration test plans and identify regression test scenarios.
• Execute test cases and scenarios for integrating test plans for complex applications.
• Capture and review test results documentation with the customer and other stakeholders.
