Job summary

ON Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a self-driven Test Engineering Intern for the Intelligent Sensor Group in Nampa, Idaho. You will work closely with Test, Validation, and Product Engineers on production test requirements for CMOS image sensors moving toward manufacturing.

The role offers exposure to automation, data analysis, and collaboration with global teams, with opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited BS/MS degree program in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English for communicating with team members across locations.
• Experience programming in C, C++, Python, and/or Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Work with Test, Validation, and Product Engineering teams to implement production test requirements for image sensor products ramping to production.
• Develop test code and methodologies to improve coverage and margin for pre-qualified devices in Nampa, ID.
• Develop test routines for novel device features and leading edge product capabilities.
• Gain experience with automated test equipment related to wafer probe and package test in a high-volume production environment.
• Collaborate with domestic and international team members to solve product test issues.
• Perform product debugging and data analysis on test results.
• Focus on strategic projects to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
