Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Test Engineer II to develop manual and automated test systems, including electrical design, automation software, and documentation.

The role covers system design from concept through acceptance, configuration of test instruments, LabVIEW software, and collaboration with technicians and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in test engineering, a BS in ECE or CSE, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical or computer engineering with related experience.
• 5–7 years’ related work experience in test engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new manual and automated test systems.
• Create system block diagrams and wiring diagrams for test configurations.
• Configure test instruments and software for testing needs.
• Perform verification and validation testing of systems.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
