NTA, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Test Engineer to support DoD missile systems at Redstone Arsenal. You will oversee environmental testing and missile assembly procedures, and manage campaigns for component- and system-level tests.

The role requires a ABET-accredited Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of experience; a Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required. Strong MS Office skills and a commitment to quality are essential.

NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated Test Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Job responsibilities include overseeing environmental testing and missile assembly procedures in support of US Army missile systems. You will be responsible for managing component- and system-level environmental test campaigns, as well as managing the assembly and test of full-up missile systems.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 5 + years of experience

Required

• Experience developing component and system level environmental test plans and procedures
• Experience managing an environmental test program
• Experience developing missile assembly procedures and overseeing assembly processes
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
• A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired

• Experience with mechanical design and fabrication
• Systems engineering experience
• Experience with configuration management of engineering drawings and revisions

Applicant must have a secret security clearance or be able to obtain a secret security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
