NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support R&D and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. You will perform CAD design, develop engineering drawings with GD&T, and conduct mechanical analysis for US Army missile systems.

You will design critical missile components and see them through fabrication and qualification, leveraging SolidWorks and strong engineering fundamentals in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks for CAD design and drawings (GD&T).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated Mechanical Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include CAD design, development of engineering drawings (including GD&T), and mechanical analysis in support of US Army missile systems. You will have the opportunity to design critical missile components and see those components through the entire fabrication and qualification sequence.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 5 + years of experience

Required

• Experience with Solid Works
• Experience with mechanical design and packaging
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
• A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired

• Experience with cable harness design
• Systems engineering experience
• Experience with machining
• Experience with thermal analysis
• Experience with configuration management of engineering drawings and revisions

Applicant must have a secret security clearance or be able to obtain a secret security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
