Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Franklin, MA. You will develop and execute test plans for hardware and solutions, partner with the test team during execution, and report results to development engineers and leadership.

You will work with external validation partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage across multiple test organizations. This role involves mentoring test technicians and contributing to risk management and test

Qualifications

Associate's degree in electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
Understanding of server hardware and software system architecture and their interactions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of computer network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.
Ability to read and understand technical documents

Responsibilities

Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed
Assist in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases
Follow risk management plans and execute test automation scripts
Document test execution progress and issues
Mentor and share best practices with test technicians
