Job summary

ITT Enidine Incorporated is seeking a Test Engineer in Orchard Park, NY, responsible for designing and qualifying test equipment and fixtures for shock absorbers, actuators, and related products. This role involves hardware development, software profiling, and coordinating with manufacturing and design teams.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and hands-on instrument experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience as Test Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
Hands-on experience with lab instruments: oscilloscopes, DMMs, voltmeters, power supplies, data acquisition systems, transducers, accelerometers.
Preference for LabVIEW, MATLAB, Visual Basic.
CAD/SolidWorks or other 3-D CAD experience.
Strong communication skills; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to design and specify test equipment and to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Designs and specifies test equipment, endurance rigs, instrumentation, and fixtures per specifications.
Builds hardware, writes software profiles, and debugs the test system.
Develops and validates test equipment and test setups for Enidine products.
Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots 3D printers.
Writes and updates test plans, procedures, and reports.
