Job Title: ERP Test Engineer
Company: Techshed Technologies Private Limited

Experience: 0 to 5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the ERP implementation and development teams to support testing activities throughout the SDLC.
  
• Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  
• Identify and analyze test conditions, defects, and risks in new and existing ERP functionality.
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  
• Execute both manual and automated tests and track results accurately using testing tools.
  
• Perform backend testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity.
  
• Communicate test progress, issues, and risks clearly to stakeholders and development teams.
  
• Understand and follow standard operating procedures and quality assurance practices.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 0 To 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  
• Testing Tools: Proficiency in tools such as TestRail and JIRA.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server capable of writing and analyzing SQL statements.
  
• Familiarity with REST APIs – testing APIs and validating responses.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering, or a related field.
  
• ISTQB or similar certification (optional but preferred).
  
• Prior experience testing ERP or enterprise-level applications.
