Our client is currently seeking a Test engineer to help with the C4ISR

Location: 3 Days a week onsite in Moorestown, NJ

Clearance Required: Active Secret or Interim Secret Clearance

About the Role

We are seeking a Test Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support a mission-critical program focused on safeguarding U.S. coastlines. This role involves testing and evaluating C4ISR systems on the Sea Commander network, with a focus on integration and performance for National Security Cutters (NSCs). The ideal candidate will have experience with Navy or U.S. Coast Guard network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Recommend design improvements for C4ISR systems hardware, software, network, installation, and logistics support.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations for fielding C4ISR systems on current and future NSCs.
• Ensure interoperability with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DoD) systems.
• Provide input to TEMPEST, information assurance, and certification teams.
• Recommend appropriate Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for interoperability and security.
• Support Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT), both in-port and at-sea.
• Conduct test and evaluation activities in CGSAIL and on National Security Cutters.
• Support Link communication systems and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) objectives.
• Manage and update Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system for test documentation and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in systems testing or engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Navy or U.S. Coast Guard systems
• Familiarity with Aegis Weapon System or Sea Commander
• Experience with C4ISR systems integration and testing

Rate: $40-50/HR
