Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Testing Engineer to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and testing across in-house and COTS/GOTS components for complex systems. This contract role is based in Liverpool, NY.

You will develop test plans, review requirements for testability, coordinate across programs, and produce discrepancy reports while supporting regression testing of fixes. On-site work with potential for security clearance; collaborate with multiple teams to ensure robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in integration and testing of complex systems.
• Strong understanding of COTS/GOTS components and systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing test plans and discrepancy reports.
• Ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and organizations.

Job description

The Testing Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. This role involves reviewing, evaluating, and deriving requirements for testability, developing and directing the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
