Job summary

Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will design, execute, and maintain test plans for web-based and enterprise applications, validating APIs and supporting Agile testing practices.

You will develop test cases, run manual and automated tests, track defects through Jira/Zephyr, collaborate with developers and business analysts, and contribute to release readiness and overall application quality.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Test Engineer within our team, you will be responsible for assessing and ensuring the quality of critical applications that support our sales and account operations. You will collaborate closely with development and testing teams to verify that applications meet business, technical, and user requirements. You will create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts, execute testing activities, and track defect lifecycles from identification through resolution. Your efforts will contribute to continuous improvement, application stability, and responsiveness, directly impacting our ability to deliver reliable fleet solutions to customers. This is a full-time position focused on quality assurance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing of web-based and enterprise applications.
• Track and manage defects through all stages of the defect lifecycle using test management tools such as Zephyr and Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results to identify, document, Reproduce, and communicate issues clearly.
• Support regression testing and re-testing efforts after defect resolutions.
• Define and monitor quality assurance metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness.
• Generate detailed testing documentation, including issue logs, verification reports, and certification records.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of software testing experience, including manual testing across web-based and enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency supporting testing efforts on large-scale application development or implementation projects.
• Experience managing defects through complete lifecycle stages including identification, documentation, validation, and closure.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools like Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of APIs and validation of API functionality.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams while managing multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and software development lifecycle methodologies is a plus.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience testing client‑server applications, web applications, and web services.
• Knowledge of structured testing techniques and software quality metrics.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development approaches.
