• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test scripts and BMS protocols.
• Professional English; Mandarin or Spanish a plus.

Job Summary: The Test Engineer will lead end-of-line (EOL) testing, commissioning, and validation processes for residential energy storage systems (RESS) at our Fort Worth facility. This role ensures all finished battery packs meet rigorous performance, communication, and electrical safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Execution & Optimization: Set up, calibrate, and maintain EOL test benches, automated test equipment (ATE), high-voltage DC power supplies and electronic loads.
• Functional & Safety Testing: Perform electrical safety (, full charge/discharge cycling, thermal profiling, and BMS communication verification.
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose non-conforming units at the component, PCBA, and system levels; collaborate with production and design teams to implement corrective actions.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce high-voltage (HV) safety protocols and OSHA standards within the testing zone.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in electrical testing, preferably involving battery packs, inverters, power electronics, RESS assembly.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, automated test scripts and BMS protocols.
• Language: Professional working proficiency in English; bilingual ability in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
