Stellant Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA is offering an onsite engineering position within the Test Engineering group. The role focuses on supporting the development, manufacturing, and testing of critical space and terrestrial hardware, including Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs) and Microwave Power Modules (MPMs).
Successful candidates will have relevant RF testing experience and will work with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot and optimize testing processes. This role involves both production and development support, necessitating strong communication skills and teamwork.
Job Location: Torrance, CA. Salary: $85,000-$125,000/yr DOE and Level.
Stellant is excited to offer an onsite engineering position at our Torrance facility, in the Test Engineering group. This role will support development, manufacturing, and testing of Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs), high voltage Electronic Power Conditioners (EPC), Microwave Power Modules (MPMs), and Xenon Ion Thrusters Systems (XIPS) as a critical technical contributor. Stellant's industry-leading space TWT & EPCs support spacecraft mission needs with over 4,700 TWTs in orbit and 290 million operating hours. Terrestrial TWTs and MPMs support critical applications for RF communications, electronic warfare (EW) and radar, producing ~2,000 units a year. In this role, you will interface with a multidisciplinary group of engineers focusing on testing, station setup, programming, and troubleshooting the above hardware. This role will also run technical investigations for production issues, support customer meetings, and provide strategic guidance on a regular basis.
This role requires relevant engineering experience in RF testing (primary focus), radar or RF systems, environmental testing or equivalent.
