Stellant Systems, Inc. is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer at their Torrance facility. The position involves primarily supporting Power Processing Units (PPU) for Xenon Ion Propulsion Systems while also assisting with Electric Power Conditioners. The role includes high voltage circuit design, troubleshooting, and leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in electronic power conditioning, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Salary: $87,000-$160,000/yr DOE and Level
Stellant is excited to offer an Electrical Design Engineer position at our Torrance facility, primarily supporting Power Processing Units (PPU) for Xenon Ion Propulsion Systems (XIPS), while also supporting Electric Power Conditioners (EPC) for our Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) as needed. Stellant’s industry leading EPCs & PPUs support space‑borne communications and ion thrusters, with over 4,700 units in orbit and 290 million operating hours. Similar technology is also utilized for terrestrial applications, delivering RF communications, electronic warfare, and radar for critical commercial and military applications around the globe. This role will be primarily tasked with production support of PPUs, plus development of new circuit designs and providing EEE component guidance as needed. Responsibilities will also include providing guidance and leadership on a technical level to a multidisciplinary group of engineers including design, test, component, embedded and project engineers.
