Job Title: Test Engineer

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Test Engineer with our client located in San Jose, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our SSD Customer Qualification test team in our client's enterprise product division.
• As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for executing and debugging OEM drive qualification tests for SSDs.
• Execute and debug SSD tests to ensure the qualification of OEM drives
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve test failures
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues using test scripts and logs.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with at least one front-end storage protocol (NVMe/PCIe, SAS)
• Proficiency in Linux operating system
• Programming/scripting background (Perl, Shell, or Python)
• Familiarity with IBM systems is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Certification is plus.

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay Rate: $70-$80 an hour
• Location: San Jose, CA (5 days onsite)
