Job summary

A government relations services firm in Quantico, VA is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Test Engineer. Clearance Requirement: Top Secret

Position Overview:

This is a hybrid position with telework available two days a week.

Top Secret clearance is a must!

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with software testing best practices and defect management processes and proven experience in delivering realistic estimates, in scope, and quality products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle delivering high quality releases on time
Perform testing activities using Microsoft's Azure DevOps to ensure proper tracking and completion each Sprint and overall release
Be an active participant with the development team in the analysis, design, and development process
Write and revise Test-related management plans and formal Test Procedures
Use tools such as Microsoft SSRS and AzDO to develop Test Reports and metrics. Trend analysis and test activity reporting by iteration and release.
Write and revise Test Cases
Set-up and configure test environments.
Perform functional, exploratory, system, regression and performance testing.

Required Skills

US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience, or equivalent certifications demonstrating ability to perform at this level.
Experience using Testing Tools such as Azure DevOps and TestComplete.
Excellent understanding and experience of Test Automation Frameworks, Regression, System, Functional and Performance Testing.
Exceptional collaborative communication skills.
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
