Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Massachusetts. You will support system integration testing across hardware and software components and help build robust test environments.

The role requires 3+ years (mid) or 5+ years (senior) in HW/SW testing or validation, plus experience with robotics or embedded platforms, and proficiency in Python or C++. You will collaborate with robotics, controls, firmware, and product teams to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years (mid) or 5+ years (senior) in HW/SW testing or validation.
• Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or autonomous platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration testing across hardware and software components
• Develop and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) test environments
• Define and manage requirements traceability and test case mapping
• Track defects and test progress using Jira, TestRail, or similar
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and reliability standards
• Work cross-functionally with robotics, controls, firmware, and product teams

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for;

Salary Range

$80-$115k
