Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Automotive Test Technician to support vehicle testing and evaluation activities. The role requires hands-on automotive experience and comfort driving vehicles for testing, following established procedures, and documenting test results.

You will travel to testing locations, assist with vehicle prep and basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safety and accuracy throughout the validation process.

• Maintain accurate test documentation and reports.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Automotive technician, vehicle testing, validation, or related experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience working with vehicles.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable driving vehicles for extended periods as part of testing.
• Ability to follow detailed testing procedures and instructions.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in different testing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive Technician experience.
• Vehicle testing or validation experience.
• Experience with ADAS, ECU, electrical, or vehicle systems.
• Experience working at automotive proving grounds or test tracks.
• Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics.
• Previous experience working with an OEM or automotive manufacturer.
