Job summary

Full Scope is seeking a Test Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to join the DNA TTO and collaborate with software engineers. You will set up test environments and execute comprehensive testing activities, documenting procedures with accuracy and repeatability.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and expertise in identifying deficiencies in tools or systems, plus experience with automated testing tools (Selenium or Katalon) to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure various test environments.
• Implement different types of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, stress testing, smoke testing, use case testing, and operational scenario-based testing.
• Conduct testing at component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.
• Perform functional and non-functional tests, including requirements-based and structure-based testing, and employ black-box and white-box testing techniques.
• Develop and utilize automated testing tools, such as Selenium or Katalon, to enhance testing efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and deficiency reports.
• Implement test strategies, plans, procedures, and processes (monitoring, control, analysis, design, implementation, execution, completion, and traceability).
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, participate in test environment setup, and execute comprehensive testing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively identify deficiencies in tools or systems. You will be responsible for documenting test procedures and artifacts with accuracy and repeatability.
