Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC located in Houston, TX, is seeking a dedicated candidate to develop, modify, and maintain test software and hardware for mass production. The role requires working in a hybrid setup with in-office presence during the workday.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing testing experience, strong Python skills, and proven ability to troubleshoot across Linux/Unix/Windows environments. CCNA or related networking knowledge is a plus, with opportunities to lead testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• CCNA certified or above is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Hands-on Python programming experience is a must
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software in Linux/Unix/Windows environments is required
• Experience in RESTful web services is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts and implement test plans for mass production.
• Sustain test-related issues with internal teams and customers for root cause analysis and improvement.
• Monitor test failure trends in production and implement corrective actions to improve yields.
• Set up and maintain production test equipment (UCS servers, terminal servers, switches, power-cycle boxes, hipot machines).
• Interface with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve testing issues.
• Lead improvement projects and ensure successful execution and outcomes.
• Train technicians and testers on testing procedures and product troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Office located in Houston, not remote, hybrid; expected in office during workday.

• Work with Test Development Engineer to develop test scripts, implement test plan, and smoothly carry out new production testing for mass production.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Manufacturing/Production Testing experiences is must.
• Hands on Python Programming experiences is must.
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues with in a Linux/Unix/Windows environment is must.
• Other industrial test scripting & programming experiences is preferred.
• Experience in RESTFUL web services is a plus.
• An excellent communication (written and verbal) skill is must.
• Must have a strong customer service/satisfaction attitude
• Must have the ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
• CCNA certified or above is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
