Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer to support aerospace aftermarket engineering across their avionics portfolio, including Surveillance Systems, Flight Recorders, and Electronic Flight Displays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on test engineering with production and test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for hardware, components, and test failures.
• Hands-on hardware and software testing experience, including integrating test equipment/software and testing products against engineering requirements.
• Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand, or LabWindows/CVI.

Responsibilities

• Support aerospace aftermarket engineering activities across avionics portfolio (Surveillance Systems, Flight Recorders, Electronic Flight Displays).
• Maintain and enhance automated test systems and drive product sustainment initiatives.
• Collaborate with repair technicians, systems engineers, manufacturing engineering, and product line leaders to improve troubleshooting, reduce turnaround time, increase first-pass yield, and ensure long-term supportability of deployed avionics products.
• Develop and troubleshoot digital, analog, and RF test circuits and various communication protocols including ARINC and serial.
