Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA, is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing methods for product development and manufacturing. You will lead test programs, fixtures, and procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes coding on test scripts, complex troubleshooting, and building robust test strategies for high-end server configurations in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
1+ years of progressive experience in engineering or manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain test process instructions (TPI) for production.
Train production employees on test processes.
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
Prepare complex test and diagnostic programs.
Coding on test scripts.
High-end server configurations.
Develop overall integration & test strategy and schedule test plans & scripts.
Design test fixtures and equipment.
Complete specifications and procedures for new products.
May be responsible for setting parameters and testing customer samples.
Install hardware into racks and label/run cables.
Build system to drawing package including loading applications and operating system.
Review test equipment and capacity.
Experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and interacting with leadership on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

Job Summary

Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

Compensation & Benefits

$75,000-100,000/yr based on experience
