Job summary

Thunderhawk Technology Partners seeks a Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience to develop and implement test plans for components and systems. You will conduct functional and environmental testing on hardware and document results, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure compliance with specifications.

You will collaborate to define, document, and analyze test procedures and results, support test stands and fixtures development, and participate in DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 testing programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering.
• Develop and implement test plans for components and systems.
• Conduct functional and environmental testing on hardware.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and ensure compliance with specs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-810.
• LabVIEW software development for fixtures and test stands.
• Background in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Certification in systems, aerospace, or quality standards.

Job description

Test Engineer who is 5+ years of experienced with Developing and implementing test plans for components and systems. Conduct functional and environmental testing on hardware. and documenting results. Coordinating with engineering teams to ensure compliance with specifications. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define, document, and analyze test procedures and results.

• Testing Support
• Development testing at the component and system level (functional, environmental, EMI, structural) for PLDC, PLAC & Next Gen Boom
• Test Equipment Development
• Coordinate design and build of test stands/fixtures with stakeholders
• LabVIEW SW development for fixtures and test stands. (may require coordinating with OSAT LabVIEW SW engineers)
• Experience in integration and test processes. (DO-160, MIL-STD-810)
• Background in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
