Responsibilities

  • Conduct stability and functional testing on AGVs and related components before delivery to ensure reliable performance.
  • Support application testing after delivery based on customer site conditions and operational needs.
  • Identify, report, and track technical issues found during testing and field deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Collect AGVs diagnostic logs from on-site operations and perform data analysis using MATLAB to identify root causes, support troubleshooting, and improve system performance.
  • Adjust inverter driver parameters and optimize testing methods and standards based on test objectives and field feedback.
  • Contribute to closed-loop quality improvement by documenting findings and helping improve product performance and reliability over time.
  • Troubleshoot on-site technical issues, track test results and field problems, and work closely with researchers and engineers to improve testing methods, quality standards, and overall product reliability.

Job Title: Entry-Level Robotics Test Engineer

About the job

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Entry-Level Robotics Test Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. This role is primarily responsible for pre-delivery stability and functional testing, post-delivery application testing based on customer site conditions, on-site troubleshooting, and data analysis related to field performance. The engineer will help ensure AGVs can be successfully deployed and operate reliably in real-world environments, while also using tools such as MATLAB to analyze field data and issue logs to support troubleshooting and performance improvement. This position works closely with researchers and engineers in the Atlanta lab and requires a hands‑on, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands‑on or project experience in robotics related field.
  • Basic coding skills in one or more programming languages (C++ and Python are strongly preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Responsible, and willing to learn, with a strong ability to handle new technical concepts quickly and contribute in a hands‑on, collaborative environment.
  • Basic MATLAB knowledge or experience (development, troubleshooting or analysis).
  • Ability to travel to or commute between client’s project locations as needed
  • Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operational
  • Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with SolidWorks or CAD
