Job summary

Ascendum Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure resilience, reliability, and regulatory compliance during our system migration initiative. This role leads testing cycles—functional, regression, performance, and disaster recovery—to validate behavior under high-volume financial transactions.

The position involves automated regression and functional testing using C# TestStack, SIT/UAT execution, and volume testing up to 200% of daily load to safeguard production readiness and reduce risk

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of automation testing experience and 5 years of manual testing experience.
• Background in automated testing frameworks for high-volume transaction systems.
• Familiarity with financial compliance routing (Legal/Brand review triggers).
• Experience querying databases to test data-centric features.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full test stack: SIT, UAT, Performance (throughput/latency), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Utilize C# TestStack for automated regression and functional testing.
• Conduct volume testing (up to 200% of daily volume) to ensure system stability.

Through disciplined defect management and automation, the engineer safeguards production readiness and reduces risk across critical banking workflows

Focus: Quality Assurance & Performance Validation
