Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with exceptional communication and technical skills. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans while navigating complex stakeholder expectations with professionalism and clarity. This program will deliver engineering services on a GOTS software application. The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Test the user interface for expected behavior and accessibility
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, senior leadership and other key stakeholders to understand project goals and quality standards.
• Conduct security testing for the API and ensure that the applications remain stable
• Create and manage JIRA tickets for bugs and/or tasks
• Assist with content management in Confluence and help improve overall team workflow visualization in JIRA.
• Lead Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting efforts post-launch and support documentation efforts
• Help with security log reviews, supporting tools like Elastic Real User Monitoring (RUM), App Performance Monitor (APM), and UMPIRE reviews.
• Communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactively identify, document, and track software defects and work with team to drive timely resolution
• Adapt testing strategies in response to shifting priorities and evolving business needs, while maintaining a high level of quality
• Manage expectations and provide regular status updates to demanding senior leadership with transparency and tact
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a quality perspective

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees; thirteen (13) years relevant experience without a degree.
