This role suits a junior to mid-level engineer eager to work on developmental and operational testing across software and hardware integration.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop test plans, gather data, analyze results, and document issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years testing new development hardware experience.
• Subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening.
• Experience in test and evaluation through work experience or internships.
• Basic understanding of requirements development, test planning, and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal skills and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Anduril Industries is seeking a motivated Test and Evaluation Engineer to support critical test campaigns for our Connected Warfare Systems—Eagle Eye, the Army’s Next Generation Command & Control (NGC2) system, Menace of Family of Systems, and related cutting‑edge products. This is an ideal role for a junior to mid-level engineer eager to work on developmental and operational testing across integrated software and hardware systems.

Overview

• Contribute to Test Campaigns: Assist in planning, executing, and reporting on system integration, developmental, and operational tests.
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, program management, and government partners.
• Growth and Learning: Gain practical experience in lab‑based (HITL) testing and field validation in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in developing and executing test plans for Eagle Eye and other Connected Warfare products.
• Help gather test data, analyze performance, and compile reports to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate in Test Readiness Reviews and document issues, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure traceability from requirements through verification and validation.
• Participate in both lab‑based test setups and field validation testing to support system improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years testing new development hardware.
• In this role, you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening, as required by the Company.
• Experience in test and evaluation, either through relevant work experience or internships/projects.
• Basic understanding of requirements development, test planning, and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with RF communications, tactical datalinks, or C2 systems.
• Exposure to lab‑based testing or field testing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with test instrumentation and data analysis tools.
• Interest in learning DoD test protocols and industry best practices.

US Salary Range

$112,000—$149,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
