Job description

Test Engineer

Directly assist the U.S. Air Force in testing for certification of new or modified aircraft systems in support of a dual-mission capable role. We need a test engineer to verify significant changes to the aircraft platform hardware or software through in-depth test planning, analysis, and reporting. We require a test engineer with test experience that will work closely with Air Force platform leads and the greater test community to ensure disciplined and effective test processes are exercised throughout all test events. As a test engineer, your experience will be utilized to support flight test engineers, hardware and software developers, flightline maintainers, System Program Office representatives, and aircraft program test directors. This role will require the development of test plans and test procedures, ensuring data analysis criteria are captured and test design meets system and user requirements. As a testing team member, you will be required to attend multiple test planning forums and communicate with team members on daily taskings. Work with us to ensure the current and next generation of weapons work seamlessly on U.S. aircrafts.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
